Passion Turned Into Profession…
I am Eric Massey!
I’ve enjoyed cooking and watching others cook for as long as I can remember.
Over the years, I’ve pursued my passion for cooking by obtaining a B.S degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University.. I LOVE IT ALL!
From making homemade pasta & sauces to baking breads, baked goods, and ice creams, to canning and drying! Society seems to have forgotten how nutritious & wholesome food made from scratch is. Not to mention how nothing quite brings people together like a good meal. So without any further ado…”LET’S EAT!!!”
“From our kitchen to yours!”
One Pot Meals
There’s nothing like the comfort you get from a one-pot meal. Rather, it’s a soothing pot of chicken soup, pot roast or spaghetti. Food has a way of making you reminisce about past moments in your life.
International Cooking
Oh, how I love the complexity of flavors & techniques that go into cooking food from other cultures! There’s nothing more intriguing than exploring diverse flavor combinations and textures from around the world. Remain open to this, and your dining experiences will never be dull.
Baked Goods
Personally. I’m not very fond of bread fresh out of the oven. I can taste the chemical mix of yeast, baking powder & baking soda. However, after it rests for a few hours, you simply can’t keep me away. Furthermore, I rather enjoy desserts that contain ingredients I can pronounce and count on two hands or fewer.

Canning & Drying
Almost a lost art, canning & drying foods are how our ancestors stored up food for emergencies. We will take a nosedive back into these practices. With just a little time and patience, we can save money, reserve space in our cupboards and refrigerators, and set up an emergency food supply.
Recent Recipe Repertoire!

Breakfast & Brunch
Fluffy homemade pancakes, waffles, biscuits, etc. Creamy grits with shrimp, just to name a few items that we’ve included in our recipe repertoire.

Pasta, Pasta!
Fast, easy & delicious! Just like homemade pasta is meant to be. We will compare & discuss which flour is best for making fresh pasta, and have FUN while doing it.

Sweet Treats
For those with a “Sweet tooth” as I do, we have a variety of dessert recipes that we continually expand. Simple, but delicious Chocolate cake, Zucchini bread, Bread pudding, and of course, ..ICE CREAM!! (I SCREAM!!!)
